Hugh Gilmore House
577 East State Street
Mason City, Iowa 50401-3537

Barry Byrne, 1915

James Blythe commissioned Barry Byrne to design this house for his daughter Maude and new son-in-law Hugh Gilmore. McCoy points to evidence that Griffin may have made preliminary plans for the house.

Several alterations have been made, including the addition of a bedroom over the east wing.
