Otto J. Hager House
402 Allamakee Street
Waukon, Iowa 52172-1350

Robert C. Spencer, Jr., 1907-08

Built for local banker Otto Hager, this house was divided into four apartments by a later owner in the decades following the Second World War, but has been carefully restored in recent years by its current owner. Of special note are the zinc-camed art glass windows with tulip motif present in every room.

Otto J. Hager was the brother of John H. Hager, whose house, designed by George Maher, is one block east.
