E. Arthur Davenport House
559 Ashland Avenue
River Forest, Illinois 60305

Frank Lloyd Wright and Webster Tomlinson, 1901

A residence based on a design that accompanied Wright’s article in the July 1901 issue of the Ladies Home Journal entitled, “Small House with ‘Lots of Room in It’”. The front of the house was altered some time after construction, perhaps by Wright or his draftsman William Drummond.
