Open during business hours

Claude & Starck, 1911

An Arts & Crafts essay by C&S, unique among their library designs. It faces the side of Sullivan’s bank and the downtown business district, but backs up against a residential section of town. Its non-monumental character and details (such as window flower boxes!) represent a fine solution to bridging this divide.
