George Delonge House
6735 West Cedar Street
Wauwatosa, Wisconsin 53213-3253

Emil Brodelle, 1912

A house designed by Wright’s draftsman, Emil Brodelle, who was one of those murdered by Julian Carlton in the August 1914 fire at Taliesin. In fact, one could argue that he was at least partially responsible for Carlton’s rampage. Brodelle asked Carlton to help him on his own house and when he refused, Brodelle shouted a racial slur.
