Henry Storck House Einar Broaten, c. 1920 Another of Broaten’s efforts that combines Wright and Griffin with vernacular building tradition. This is the southern face of the house. The east façade has curious Griffin-like corner piers and stucco “panels” framed by brickwork. The stucco has gravel pressed into it. The other two major corners of the house do not have piers. Has a large picture window replaced the original windows? References |
