Dr. R.L. Truitt House
48 East Jefferson Avenue
Naperville, Illinois 60540-4927

Harry Robinson, 1915

Truitt was a prominent physician who was instrumental in establishing Naperville’s hospital. His house was originally designed as a combination residence/physician's office with an attached garage. The home was then redesigned by Robinson several years later to accommodate the growth of the Truitt family. The addition included an extra bedroom and converted the garage into a dining room. The home was purchased by Jeffery and Barbara Knuckles in 1985, and was converted into offices. North Central College bought the house in 2006 and continues to use it as offices.
