Canton High School Building
3380 North Liberty Street
Canton, Mississippi 39046

Noah W. Overstreet, 1922

The building was enlarged by Overstreet in 1937 (the section on the left), and was closed in 1969 when Canton’s schools were desegregated. Nissan Motor Company, which has a large assembly plant in the city, considered converting it into offices in 2001. In 2006 it was announced that the City of Canton would be relocating there.
