Victory Building C.W. Way, 1919 The Dutton Co., founded in 1886, named this building to commemorate America’s victory in the World War. The Sullivanesque terra cotta bears the initials “VB” (Victory Building) and “D” (Dutton). The Dutton, and now Dutton-Lainson Co., has occupied the building continuously since its construction.
