J. de Bie Leuveling Tjeenk, 1925

This residence was achitect De Bie Leuveling Tjeenk 's own house. After receiving his engineering degree, he travelled the world, including the United States. He establshed his own practise in 1914. In 1918 he was hired as the architect for the Dutch Trade Fair institute (or “Jaarbeurs”) for which he designed several large buildings in Utrecht (now demolished).
