Random Notes - A Blog

20 December 2006
The runup to Christmas has taken its toll. Additions to the PST have slowed to a crawl, though not for want of contributions from site visitors.

Charles Guadagnino generously sent photos of his house in Shorewood, Wisconsin, originally built by John S. Walbridge, business partner of famed Milwaukee designer George Mann Niedecken. Authorship of the house is unknown at present, but it is likely that Niedecken had a hand in its design.

A large number of photos of Wright houses and others have been contributed by Rick McNees. He has taken the spirit of this site to heart. In addition to the many Wright buildings he has photographed, he has used this site as a guide to locate PS buildings when visiting other cities. His work in Memphis will soon be visible here.

The efforts of these fine people make my work here more enjoyable and expand this resource for all. Thank you!
