Regular visitors to The Prairie School Traveler can be excused if they’ve noticed an accumulating layer of dust on these pages. This site was assembled on a 12" Apple iBook that I bought about six months before the PST went live. During that time it has traveled many thousands of miles with me, and been dropped more than once. Though it’s been a trouper, it finally gave up the ghost in early May. Its replacement, a 13" MacBook, arrived a couple weeks ago, and yesterday I transferred the contents of the old hard drive to the new machine. So the PST is back in business, with rather a backlog of images to post. I appreciate the patience of contributors and site visitors, and the good wishes of a few who wrote to ask, “What’s going on (or not going on)?”.
